RD 30/2015: Establishing Oman Governance and Sustainability Centre and Promulgating its Regulation
Royal Decree 30 of 2015 came into effect on 22 July 2015 and establishes the Oman Governance and Sustainability Centre, which is affiliated with the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The Centre, in Muscat and which replaces the Oman Corporate Governance Centre at the CMA, aims to promote good corporate governance and social responsibility within companies. To do so, the Centre will offer programs and conferences, and awards in these fields. In return for a fee of participation, members of the Centre can receive research support and consultancy. The Centre will in addition play a regulatory role in corporate governance and social responsibility.
